Regardless of changes in flow rate or upstream pressure, the valve maintains a stable downstream pressure, protecting the piping system and the water-using equipment behind it. This product is currently imported and genuinely distributed by An Phu Thanh in the full size range from DN50 to DN350 in Vietnam. Operating principle and construction of the BTL 200X-16 pressure reducing valve The BTL 200X-16 pressure reducing valve is designed to operate on the principle of pressure balance between the control chamber above the diaphragm and a pressure signal taken from the downstream side of the valve. In the normal state, when the downstream pressure is lower than or equal to the set point, the pilot valve opens partially, allowing high-pressure water from the upstream side to enter the control chamber above the diaphragm and push the disc open, in order to maintain the downstream pressure at the desired level. When the downstream pressure tends to rise above the set point, for example because the downstream consumption drops suddenly while the upstream pressure remains high, the pilot valve senses this change and closes down, reducing the flow of water entering the control chamber. The pressure in the chamber gradually falls, causing the disc to move toward closing, throttling the flow more in order to bring the downstream pressure back to the set point. Conversely, when the downstream pressure falls below the set point, the pilot valve opens wider, increasing the pressure in the control chamber and pushing the disc open further to increase the flow rate, compensating so that the downstream pressure returns to the set level.
